Brad Smith is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Health, the nation’s largest home-based palliative care provider. Currently operating in 23 states and 48 cities, Aspire employs interdisciplinary teams of specially trained physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and chaplains who care for patients facing a serious illness in their homes.
Prior to launching Aspire, Brad served as chief-of-staff at the Tennessee Department of Economic Development. Before his time in state government, Brad was the founding executive director of the Tennessee State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE), a statewide education initiative. Brad has also spent time working in the White House and at McKinsey & Company. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University and received an M.Phil from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
