Liam Donohue is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of .406 Ventures, a Boston-based early stage enterprise IT and healthcare fund with $650M under management across four funds. Liam has been a venture investor for more than 20 years – starting as a Principal at Foster Management, a venture capital fund focused on healthcare service industry investments; then co-founding Arcadia Partners, a fund focused on technology-enabled education companies; and finally, co-founding .406 Ventures, where he leads their healthcare investing activity.
At .406, Liam focuses on companies that provide technology, systems and services that support clinical delivery. Current companies include Abacus Insights, AbleTo, Annum Health, Axial Healthcare, Bend Financial, Iora Health, Nomad Health, Redox, and WelbeHealth. Prior investments include Health Dialog (sold to BUPA), WellAware (sold to Healthsense/Grand Rounds) and AccessWorldwide (IPO).
Liam has a BS in Chemistry from Georgetown University and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
