Senior Vice President, Medscape Education
Rejean Rochette is Senior Vice President of Medscape Education with responsibility for all US and Global sales and operations. Mr. Rochette, is a 19-year veteran of the organization.
Prior to assuming that responsibility, he served as Senior Vice President for US Medical Education sales.
Under his leadership, the company launched Patient Education and Virtual Patient Simulation, greatly enhancing the product portfolio. He lead the organization to establish strategic partnerships with academic centers and other healthcare organizations in order to expand opportunities to reach and educate physicians, patients and their caregivers.
From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Rochette functioned as Executive Vice President at Conceptis, the parent company of www.theheart.org, (an industry leading HCP cardiology website) until the site was acquired by WebMD in 2004. Prior to Conceptis, Mr. Rochette spent 15 years with American Hospital, which later became Baxter, where he held a variety of sales, marketing and management positions.
He graduated from McGill University. He has been married for 30 years and is the father of two daughters; one of whom is an entrepreneur and the other a professional cyclist. In his spare time, he participates in a variety of mountain biking events around the world.
