Dr. Levine is a maker by heart, technologist by training, strategist and global ecosystem builder by trade and has become a leading voice in a rational transformation of healthcare.
Dr. Levine is the Founder/Executive Director of the Living Heart Project and is Sr. Director of Life Sciences for the leading 3D scientific software company, Dassault Systèmes. Since the inception of the SIMULIA brand in 2006, Steve has been responsible for leading the business strategy resulting in over 500% growth. His current focus is the development of the 3DEXPERIENCE Human Twin, which will transform healthcare by combining physics-based modeling with artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) to create functioning and informative 3D human models, allowing digital continuity of medical information from the inception of care though consumer use. Steve is also responsible for incubating a healthcare startup community within the 3DExperience Labs at Dassault Systèmes and creating a marketplace of digital healthcare services. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Rutgers University and was elected as a Fellow in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
Steve has nearly 30 years of experience driving innovation in technology, beginning his career in health tech at the San Diego based startup Biosym which went public as Accelrys in 2004 and acquired by Dassault Systèmes in 2014.
